Narrated by Shimelash Bequele
There is one great saying in our country and that is, “There is a Lord that saves from a thrown spear, let alone something uttered against.”
Therefore, once upon a time, one fox which was very, very hungry, was praying before God to give her something to eat. And there was another sheep who saw a lion in the distance and prayed to God to save him from the mouth of the lion. And there was another donkey sleeping on the ground without looking to the Lord.
Now the fox saw the donkey and killed it. The lion saw the sheep and the lion ran after the sheep and on the way he saw the fox, starting to eat the donkey. Therefore the fox rushed off, fearing the lion and the lion ate the donkey and the sheep was saved from both.
And therefore the saying is proved here.
